Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Drafts

Today I'm sharing my creation for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Draft challenge! This sketch is such a great one, I had so much fun with this card!

Here's my creation just in time for Valentine's Day! :) This super cute fox is from the Chilly Chums set, the sentiment was created using the Alphadot set, and the heart is from the Woofers and Tweeters set. I did stamp kissing on the dotted heart using one of the dotted stamps from the Alphadot set. Such a fun and easy technique!! I colored my image using copics and added glossy accents to the little nose and the hearts. I have trouble making cards that don't use glossy, it adds SO much dimension! The fun embossed background was made using a new Cuttlebug embossing folder, and I used patterned papers from Pebbles and October Afternoon. Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is Picture Perfect. We're to use this photo as inspiration for a card. I love the pattern and great colors in this photo and had fun using them as a starting point for my project.

For my card, I embossed the 'leaf' stamp multiple times onto orange paper with white embossing powder to create a similar pattern as in the inspiration photo. I added strips of different washi tapes, a doily punch border, and some fun buttons to finish it off. I couldn't resist using these sweet birdies and branches on my card, that owl is my favorite! The stamps I used are from the Woofers and Tweeters, Reflections, and Hang Ups sets from Paper Smooches. They all work so well together and make for very fun and cute cards! :)

Paper Smooches SPARKS Designer Drafts

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a sketch! This one was a little bit of a tricky one for me, but it was still a blast to create with some SUPER fun new PS stamps!! :)

Here's my creation using the really cute new set called Bold Blooms, along with Simply Said, Daisies and Paisleys and FOLKal Points. I layered the line art petal and leaves from Daisies and Paisleys onto the solid images from Bold Blooms. They work together PERFECTLY! I also added the little cross stitch stamp from FOLKal Points for a faux stitched look across the top. CARDS Blog Challenge Card

I'm participating in CARDS Magazine's Blog Challenge for January. The challenge is to use these GORGEOUS colors in our creation. I had SUCH an awesome time creating this wedding/anniversary card. These are some of my most favorite colors!!!

I created this wreath by lightly penciling in a circle using a spellbinders circle die. I then stamped this sprig from the Paper Smooches Reflections stamp set many times to create a full looking wreath. The flowers are from the same stamp set and are stamped and cut out and attached to the card using foam tape. I added some pretty silver pearls to finish off my wreath. The sentiment on this card is from the Paper Smooches Simply Said set. It has such great sayings and the lettering style is so elegant! The border on the bottom of my card is from Martha Stewart, LOVE that one! :) I finished off my card by adding an aqua satin bow. Thanks for looking!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes!

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge is called Anything Goes. So the creative options are limitless, just create anything you're inspired to! :)

Here's my creation using the Paper Smooches sets Simply Said and Daisies and Paisleys. I've simply stamped the images and colored them, added gems and a bit of washi tape. Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge is a Picture Perfect Challenge. We were to use this Picture as inspiration for our project.

Here's my take on the Inspiration Picture. I used the Chit Chat, Reflections, Perky Plants, and Hullabaloo stamp sets from Paper Smooches. I fussy cut the leaves and added some pearls for blossoms. The sentiments are double stamped to create shadows and dimension.
